Thank you to some of our P7s who helped to pick up litter around the school grounds today!

🌟Mrs Uí Choinn's class loved their drama workshop with Gemma from the waterside theater today. They are looking forward to working with her again in the coming weeks 🌟

❄️There was such excitement in Miss Lynch's class this afternoon! Yesterday we put superheroes in water and into the freezer overnight. Today we discovered they were frozen and had to work together to free them!❄️

⭐️Families Connect⭐️

Our second week of Families Connect focused on Feelings. Our children and parents had a great time together. Talking about our feelings is so important especially as this is Children’s Mental Health Week.

Some primary 6 children have been busy getting our pollinator garden ready for Spring 🌸🌼🌺 They have been weeding, planting crocuses and bluebells and even spotting some beautiful snowdrops and garden friends 🪱🐛 @Eco-Schools Northern Ireland Official

To celebrate children’s mental health week during our carpet time p2 talked about our ‘connections.’ Everyone drew themselves and we connected them together to show how we are connected as a class. ⭐️

Well done to this P7 Irish dancer who collected a trophy at her recent competition 🥳🏆

A little bit of science in primary 1 today during messy play. The children used cornflour and water to make oobleck- it's a solid that magically turns to a liquid. The boys and girls had so much fun investigating and exploring....sorry for the messy uniforms!😆

🌟 GRANDPARENTS DAY 🌟 

Our primary 4 children prepared and delivered a beautiful assembly for their grandparents this morning as a part of our catholic schools week celebrations. It was so lovely to welcome so many of you back into our school and our children were absolutely delighted to have you all here. 😊 🙏🏼
