Thursday: Experiment Day πΌ
Our topic is called ‘Prove it!’ this term so we decided to prove that water travels up the stem of a plant to the petals by using food colouring.
Friday: Instructional Writing βπΌ
We have been looking at Instructional Writing this week. We split the class in two with only one half getting detailed instructions. We made fruit skewers and learnt a lot of about the features of instructional writing and the importance of detail!

Nature Trail Update

Over 9,000 kilos of bark were spread to cover our new path and outdoor classroom. Good job Tony & Conor! More plants have been delivered for our new pollinator friendly garden πͺ΄! Things are looking good and we are very excited watching it all coming together.

Our New Nature Trail

A huge thank you to Mrs McCormack and our fabulous children, who have been lending a helping hand and checking out the new nature trail. They have put a lot of thought into choosing plants that the bees will love. Also, a huge thanks to Tony Mullan of Urban Earth, our landscape gardener, busy building our new outdoor classroom. We cannot wait to see the finished product! ππͺ΅π

Beginning of Year Mass
