World Book Day is Thursday, 2nd March. Children in P1-P3 can come to school dressed up as their favourite character, if they wish. P4-P7 children will complete fun book day activities in school.

All children can bring a book to school if they would like to do a book swap with a classmate. 📚 🍎 🐛

Our whole school potato growing challenge for this year has begun 🌱🥔  

Our potatoes need plenty of light and regular watering. We will be weighing our potatoes at the end of our challenge to see which class has been the most successful and we think the teachers are as excited as the children. 😆

Our Families Connect group had a fantastic time this week discussing Praise. We had great fun making ‘Praise Badges’ to be used at home. Well done everyone. 🥳🤩

For the end of our food topic primary 2 tasted lots of different types of bread from around the world. Some of us tried some new things for the first time! Well done everyone 🥖🤩

P2s looking after the environment and helping to keep their playground tidy by lifting litter and putting it in the bin. 🌍 🍃

🌟Mrs Uí Choinn's class loved their drama workshop with Gemma from the waterside theater today. They are looking forward to working with her again in the coming weeks 🌟

❄️There was such excitement in Miss Lynch's class this afternoon! Yesterday we put superheroes in water and into the freezer overnight. Today we discovered they were frozen and had to work together to free them!❄️

Our second week of Families Connect focused on Feelings. Our children and parents had a great time together. Talking about our feelings is so important especially as this is Children’s Mental Health Week.
