This week our children P1-P7 actively participated in Safer Internet Day. 🖥️

Using the internet safely and positively is a message that we emphasise in our school. 

 

We read stories, made posters, created short dramas and talked about how to keep ourselves safe online. ⭐️

 

Children were reminded of the SMART rules 👇

Rock Red Friday

The Children's Heartbeat Trust provides support for children and young people living with heart disease and their families.

This coming Friday, 9th February, we are inviting children to wear something RED to show our support and raise funds for this very worthwhile charity.

On this day, your child is invited to wear RED clothing to school instead of their uniform.

We would kindly ask that you send a donation of £1 with your child on Friday.

🤎 Celebrating St Brigid’s Day 🤎

 

Thank you to Mrs McCormack who spent time showing children from all year groups how to make St Brigid’s crosses. We had an amazing time and were excited to have real crosses in our classrooms after learning so much about them this week.

This week Primary 5 created 'Stop Animations' on the ipads using a fantastic app called iMotion. Brilliant job everyone! 📱🖤

Our wonderful Canteen staff kindly made delicious dove 🕊️ cupcakes🧁 for our P7 children who will be Confirmed in St Joseph's Church tomorrow. Thank you so much. 🥰

P1 celebrated Catholic Schools Week by talking and thinking about all the people that we care for that work in our school and that look after us every day. 💙 We felt very lucky and said a special prayer for all of these amazing people! 🤩🙏🏼
